I have started writing this letter in my head probably about a hundred times before and I'm sure that to the people closest around me, this comes as no surprise.

On February 10th, I decided to call it a day, or should I say...17 and a half years....
That's how long this band has been a part of my life. It has become a big part of my identity, and making this decision, in a way, feels like cutting off a part of myself.
On the other hand, this will always remain a big part of me and I will always remember it as some of the best years of my life.

I could never have imagined that what we started back in 1989 would take us around the world to places we could only dream of going.
We have made many good friends along the road, who have taken great care of us and gone out of their way to help us in any way possible.
I won't mention any names to avoid missing out on anyone, but I'm quite sure you know who you are...

This last year has been one of the best and most fun for me with the band. We made, what I think is our strongest record in our "career" and we toured quite a bit.
Japan and Brazil with Magnus still on guitar and then Canada and all the shows around Europe with Daniel on guitar. We definitely grew stong as a band and as friends during these tours.

To be quite honest, in a way I'm scared of letting go. This band has been a constant and safe spot in my life, but I'm also excited for what the future holds.
I could go on forever, reminiscing, like an old man in a bar talking about the good ol' times, but after all this is just the end of a chapter. It's time to turn the page and move on.
New adventures await!

I look forward to getting the new band going and facing the challenges it may bring.

Yes, that's right you won't get rid of us that easy....Fredrik, Daniel and I are working on a new band called ENEMY ALLIANCE.
Andy is busy with his band SISTA SEKUNDEN and Robert is playing in a his new punk band TRENCHES.

En tout cas, les véritable reste de Satanic (juste Rodrigo, le chanteur et Fredrik, le guitariste) ont un nouveau groupe, que vous pouvez écouter juste là

putain les nerfs, ca fait chier, satanic surfers cétait un des premiers groupes que jai écouté et que jadore toujours autant !! il ne me reste plus qua écouter ce groupe en boucle maintenant, une référence du skatecore suédois, tout comme millencolin ... et vous autres bande de cons de ce putain de forum qui ne réagissent jamais au posts dans cette rubrique allez donc faire un tour la http://www.myspace.com/satanicsurfers et venez donner votre avis putain !!!
